Recording, Mixing, Production
From the moment we set up the mics on stage or in the studio to the last finishing touches in automation, we strive to find and perfect your signature sound. We record musicians on location – or in our recording and mixing studio in Severna Park, MD. Our studio has two medium size recording rooms connected through Dante and video monitoring.
We mix in ProTools HD and rely both on plug-ins and hardware equipment, including Universal Audio's 7616 tube mic preamp and 1176 solid state compressor; Anthony Demaria's ADL 1500; API 2500 bus compressor and mic preamps; and Dangerous Music 2 Bus+ and D-Box - for monitoring and summing in analogue.
We always look to collaborate with talented artists. The truth is, nobody knows where and how the next great musical acts will be discovered. This was the case in the past: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jac Holzman once founded Elektra Records in his St. John's College dorm room. This still holds true today.
When a happy match happens between you as a musician and our producers, we can inspire your best recorded performance, assist you in creating the the right instrumentation and strive together with you to create the best possible version of your song.
Our staff will work with you to develop promotional materials that best suit your needs: we can assist you with website and logo design, press kits, CD album design, including CD face design, inserts, sleeves, booklets for jewel cases and digipaks, put together business cards, gig flyers and posters, t-shirts, stickers, and whatever else we think will help put you on the map and start your climb to the top of the music charts!

Вся моя предыдущая жизнь - путь у этому диску. Мой первый сольный диск, записанный на рубеже тысячелетий, назывался “Зеркало”, в полном соответствии с заглавной песней, написанной тридцать лет назад: ученый видит в зеркале авантюриста с револьвером. В молодости нам и зеркала не надо, мы видим только себя, куда ни посмотрим. Весь мир - одно большое “Я”. Время искривляет зеркало жизни, в отражении часто проступают образы других людей, времен и мест, порой - неожиданно для нас самих.

My whole life has lead up to this album, "Warped Mirror." My first solo album, recorded at the turn of the century, was called 'The Mirror', as was the title song written thirty years ago: a scientist sees his own reflection in a mirror where he is transformed into an armed gangster. When we are young, we have no need for mirrors - we see ourselves wherever we look. The whole world is one big 'I'. Time warps the mirror of life, our own reflection starts to show images of other people, times and places - often when we least suspect it.
